The Nottingham is a retirement community in Jamesville, NY, that offers comprehensive care options, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and a newly-constructed Memory Life Community building specialized for dementia patients. Loretto’s goal in upgrading their nurse call and wander management systems was to standardize this campus with the rest of the health system, offering an integrated life safety ecosystem for all nurse call and wander system needs at all Loretto sites.

Loretto partnered with Special Care Systems to install an RCare Wireless Nurse Call System fully integrated with an Accutech ResidentGuard Wander Management System. The integration between these two new solutions allows for alerts from both systems to alarm to central caregiver displays, eliminating the need to watch over two separate systems, and also provides contextual reporting data for staff and leadership to optimize call response times and improve care for residents with exit-seeking behavior.
