Special Care Systems, LLC. Announces WBE Status

Ann Kowal, President and Co-Founder of Special Care Systems, LLC has announced that they have been certified as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise.

Special Care Systems, established in January of 2002, is a Hi-tech Healthcare Communications Integrator providing multiple technology solutions to a continuum of Eldercare and Healthcare Facilities. Their products range from In-Home Personal Emergency Systems to High End Acute Care Hospital Call and Notification systems. They have also become specialists in Elder Elopement Technologies and Fall Management Systems for the Elderly.

Special Care has earned a reputation as the region’s foremost provider of On-site Personal Emergency Systems and has been cited in Assisted Living Magazine for their knowledge and expertise in Wireless Systems.

Listed among their customers are Rochester General Hospital, Finger Lakes Health, St. Ann’s Community, Cloverwood Senior Living, and the recently opened Cherry Ridge in Webster. Special Care also blazed new territory when they installed the very first ALL Digital Computerized call system at St. Ann’s in the Spring of 2005.
