Special Care Systems' New Headquarters
Special Care Systems moved to their new headquarters at 474 Ridge Road in Webster on March 14, 2008.
474 Ridge Road began as C.M. Spink, a feed, grain and grocery store, around the turn of the century and will now house our integrated communication technology company.
Special Care Systems, owners and founders, Ann Kowal, President, and Myron Kowal, Vice President of Sales and New Product Development, worked with the Monroe County Industrial Development Corporation through a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration to purchase the building under the SBA 504 loan program.
Myron Kowal adds, "Special Care Systems has grown by over 65% in the past year and we’ve recently added
additional staff to our sales and technology services department, we needed the additional space and the timing
was correct for all aspects of this move."
Healthcare needs have increased, currently over 14% of the population in the greater Rochester area is over 65, and applications for nurse call systems on through to personal emergency systems and other healthcare communications have been met by Special Care Systems.
According to Ann Kowal, who is also the President of the Webster Chamber of Commerce, "We are excited to be in the new building and very pleased we are still located in Webster, it’s a great place to do business."
Myron, Ann and the whole team at Special Care Systems invite you to stop by and visit us in our new location.
